Sterling silver, enamel, and a sequence of small decisions in shape, color, and surface.

I cast and rolled a sterling silver ingot, then cut the pendant shape. Sterling silver wire defines the boundaries between the enamel regions.

I built up and fired the enamel to give the piece color and depth. Polishing the pendant and adding a sterling silver chain completed the necklace.
