Engineering Portfolio

I believe that every artisan and engineer needs beautiful tools. Whether it's hand tools or large scale furnaces, I love to design and create tools to better serve projects.  At Purdue, I am a mechanical engineering student interested in automation and equipment design. This is a collection of my engineering projects as well as crafts and tools in wood, iron, and silver.

A BIT ABOUT ME

My interests sit at the intersection of mechanical design, controls, and fabrication. I enjoy working through how a system should function, then bringing it into the shop and into users hands. Outside of core MechE, I really enjoy working with my hands. Over the years, I have become very comfortable working with wood, steel, silver and glass, and often combine these different crafts.

Alongside engineering, I run Purdue's forging lab where my efforts towards tool design benefit our ability to teach students all kinds of forging processes. I love to make tools that make it easier for TAs to teach and for students to learn.
